Women's Raccoon Fur Trimmed Hooded Down Coat (Apparel) First let me say that this is not my only winter coat and that I purchased it for the stylish v fur hood. I am a size twelve so I ordered the large. It was too big but since shipping was 120$, I decided to have it altered to fit. Likes: more length on it then most coats so it is warmer; hood looks great and gets tons of compliments; warm because of high down feather content; deep zippered pockets are warm for hands and good storage. Dislikes: lower half of jacket is flared and must be taken in to ensure warmth; hood is too large and flies off when windy; occassional feather leakage. Even with 180$ additional costs it was less than the" in department store" version which is 500-600$. Thinking this was a fluke, I bought it again this winter. Well, the zipper separated again after 1 1/2 months wear. This one I am returning due to poor zipper quality. Contrary to other reviews this coat runs small in my opinion...i usually wear a medium but this was a little snug...the fur was not as thick as i had hoped and finally the zipper was defective. My initial response was to request a refund...thankfully i didnt. I requested to exchange for a size Large. The exchange was processed in a very timely manner and of course there was no fee to ship the new coat. I received the size large today and what a difference. In addition to being a better fit the fur on this one is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL....FULL AND THICK....i can hear the compliments already. If you're unsure about making this purchase i say "go for it." Worst case scenario you can return for a refund or exchange and end up more than satisfied!!!! |
